Score 87 and B-CU Seeks Business and Student Applicants for the 2016 PitchFest Competition
B-CU and SCORE 87 is seeking budding or existing businesses and students to participate in the 2016 PitchFest during the BizFest Expo for Entrepreneurs on September 15, 2016 at the Bethune-Cookman University Performing Arts Center in Daytona Beach. Six selected finalists, two emerging businesses, two existing businesses, and two student businesses will present their business idea to a panel of distinguished judges. Finalists have the chance to win cash and valuable prizes. Those interested are instructed to apply online at www.score87.org and submit applications by August 31st at midnight.
Applications will be evaluated based on uniqueness of the business idea, competitive advantage, and clarity and overall thoroughness of the application. First and second place winners in each category will be determined by the panel of judges at BizFest 2016. First place to the top contestants in each category (emerging, existing, and student business) will win $2000.00. Second place to the top runner-ups in each category (emerging, existing, and student business) wins $500.00.
