Bethune-Cookman University Announces Spring Commencement Speakers: U.S. Congresswoman Val Demings and Henry Thomas

Spring Commencement 2018 will be held at the Mary McLeod Performing Arts Center. "Bringing all of the graduation activities to campus will allow us to come together as a community proud to send into the world more than 400 graduates who are global leaders committed to service, lifelong learning and diversity," said Interim President Hubert L. Grimes. The University will host two ceremonies at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.The 9 a.m. commencement speaker will be U.S. Congresswoman Val Demings. At the 3 p.m. ceremony, U.S. entrepreneur and civil rights activist Henry Thomas will give the keynote address.
