In memory of our Founders' Vision and tireless lifetime ministry in education, this Foundation was created to provide academic opportunities for deserving high school students, through a mentoring and scholarship platform. A partnership has also been formed with Bethune-Cookman University to provide endowments on both academic and athletic levels. Impacting one life at a time.

THE WILSON ROTUNDA LEGACY TREE project at Bethune-Cookman University is a living memorial in honor of the influence, impact and philanthropy of Rufus L. Wilson, Sr. and the Wanda and Janice Wilson Foundation.

The Legacy Tree is permanently housed in the newly created Wilson Rotunda of the historic Harrison Rhodes Building located in the heart of the campus. Symbolically, the branches and roots of the tree represent the lineage of Rufus and Janice Wilson, catalysts of the foundation and the generational connection of their parents (David Jackson Jr., class of 1958 and Blevins Jackson), (Wanda S. Wilson, class of 1960 and Robert Wilson) to Bethune-Cookman University.

Supporting the mission of the Legacy Tree at various levels are our caring individual Donors and Corporate Contributors who have invested in the vision of the Wilson family and Bethune-Cookman University.
