Master of Arts in Christian Ministry is a 2-year degree program open to all people with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Candidates for the MA program should have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0-point scale (or equivalent).
The focus for MA in Christian Ministry program is to provide educational opportunities for both clergy and laity. The type of education that we offer will prepare our students for both pastoral works and enhance their practice in a variety of professions within and beyond the local church (e.g. church administration, chaplaincy, youth work, missions, evangelism, social work and more). The goals of the program are:
a) To enhance the Christian mission to the world by providing theological training for ministers, pastors, Christian educators, and lay leaders who engage with day to day realities of the real world.
b) To connect the School of Religion to local communities through dialogue, service, civic engagement, and educational opportunities to help lift our communities from poverty and despair.
The Master of Education in Exceptional Student Education Program is a 33 credit-hour, evidence-based online graduate program designed to prepare in-service teachers to serve students with disabilities in the Pre-K through 12 setting. The use of technology integration prepares graduates for a connected and global digital society. Graduate students will participate in a 2-year program during the fall, spring and summer semesters, selecting a specialization area of study in Pre-K Disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) prior to admission to the program.
The specialization tracks in this program reflect the State of Florida's endorsement courses in Pre-K Disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
If one thinks of those leaders who made a distinctive impact, who changed their organizations, communities and the world for the better, who were ethical and value-centered, who made informed data-driven decisions, who saw things no one else could see, who solved problems few might risk addressing who not only managed but transformed, then one might ask, can this be taught? Is there a place to acquire these skills? Is there a place where leadership is cultivated, and where the sheer effectiveness of a collaborative approach is honed, refined, and understood deeply so as to be applied to the most challenging situations one might face? The master's in Transformative Leadership Program is a rigorous four-semester on-line program that unreservedly shows that the answer is yes.
The Graduate Certificate Program will require the satisfactory completion of twenty-four (24) credit hours of graduate-level courses. To earn a certificate, students must complete eight (8) three-hour courses (See Course List).
