Gain College Credit for Work/Life Experience, Save Money and Time

If you are among those considering a return to college, now could be the time, as there are ways to earn college credit for things you already know!

Many colleges and universities offer this type of credit. Credit for work/lifeexperience at B-CU is considered with a Prior Learning Assessment.

The benefits of earning college credit through a Prior Learning Assessment means you can get your degree in less time and at a reduced cost.

Your experience must be relevant to your proposed degree and you must be able to demonstrate and/or provide evidence of the learning. Among the documentation accepted for Prior Learning Assessment are certificates and licenses, professional development transcripts and military service. Listen to a more in depth conversation regarding Prior Learning Assessment with Talk Tuesday host, FranShon Reid-Barnes with Chief Online Learning Officer, Dr. Gale Gibson Gayle.

For more information, contact Dr. Gale Gibson Gayle, Chief Online Learning Officer, at 386-481-2064 or gayleg@cookman.edu.
